The Cleantech Group, an industry research and advisory firm, named GE 'Corporation of the Year' in honor of GE's commitment to innovation through its active support of cleantech companies, along with its own development of clean technologies. Kevin Walsh, managing director and leader of GE Energy Financial Services' renewable energy team, accepted the award on behalf of GE.
