Joined by representatives of Verve Energy, First Solar and local government officials, executives of GE Energy Financial Services helped officially “switch on” the business unit’s co-owned 10-MW Greenough River Solar Farm – Australia’s largest PV solar project – at a ribbon-cutting event. Located near Geraldton, Western Australia, the solar project marks the GE unit’s first renewable energy investment in the country and underscores the company’s expertise in and commitment to building utility-scale solar projects globally.
